Snap to Object

With Snap to Object, the SmartCursor finds specific parts of an object, such as corners, endpoints, or centers of linear and circular objects. Cues display near the snap point to identify the location.

 

To activate object snapping:

1.	Double-click the Snap to Object constraint.

The 3D Snapping dialog box opens.

2.	Select Snap to edge points, and then click OK.
